Thanks Peggy and Terry. No beaches here though, seagulls are part of the city, as the sea is as the crow flies only 25 k or so...apparently no distance at all for gulls. Food enough in the city too,...

Oh Leny, I read that book long time ago and still have it. I agree that seagulls aren't vermin, they are just opportunists, like most people I know.
